Along the southern access road to Strömstad you will find this rural accommodation on a farm, where you have the opportunity to charge both your own and the car's battery. The cottage offers chargers for electric cars, just bring your own cord. From here you can easily take the bus into Strömstad or out to Rossö which is known for its fine coastal hiking trails and paths through pine, beech and oak forest and its many bathing areas with both sandy beaches and rock baths with wonderful views of the Koster Sea.
The cottage is on two levels, on the first floor there is a kitchen with stove, fridge / freezer and microwave and bathroom with shower, from the hall there is a staircase up to the second floor where you will find the cottage's living room with TV and three bedrooms. One bedroom has a 120 cm and a 90 cm bed, one bedroom has two 90 beds and the third has a 120 bed, all beds are 200 long. The cottage ceiling height is 190 cm on the first floor and 210 cm on the second floor. On the smaller lawn area there is garden furniture, electric grill you borrow via contact with the cottage owner. Washing machine can also be borrowed via contact with the cottage owner. The cottage has a fiber connection and if you come with an electric car, free charging is offered.
In Strömstad there is a large selection of activities, rich restaurant life, pleasant shopping in small shops that are close to each other or why not just sit and enjoy all the boats in the harbor area. From the cottage you walk, take the city or the free buses to the city center and all the entertainment or to the bathing places that there are several to choose from. If you want to experience islands and the archipelago environment, there are several boat charters and bathing boat trips from the harbor in the center to several archipelago islands such as. Furholmen or Kosteröarna but also to neighboring Norway. It is also possible to rent a boat or kayak for your own exploration trips. For those interested in golf, there are several 18-hole courses in the area and right next to the villa there is access to a tennis court.

West coast Bohuslän Warm cliffs, red boat houses, perfect fishing places, water sports and exciting tourist attractions are just some out of many experiences that Bohuslän on the Swedish west coast can offer you. There are a lot of activities for families with children. For instance you can visit an amusement park or a zoological park, exciting fortresses or museums where you can explore and experience.
Bohuslän has its own beautiful archipelago. Go visiting the Koster islands in the northern part of Bohuslän where you can enjoy the beautiful nature on your rented bicycle. You can also travel by boat to Bohuslän from Strømstad, a nice town, especially during the summer.
Sotenäs municipality consists of both large and small communities. Smögenbryggan is the most famous tourist attraction in the area. People from near and far come in order to see the lively boat traffic, shop in the stores and enjoy a nice meal in the cosy restaurants nearby.
Lysekil is situated in the outermost part of the boat harbour, and even if you stay in the centre of the town, the water and the boats are always quite near. A walk in Gamlestan is also worth experiencing.
The Skaftø peninsula is now known as the “salt island”, Saltøen, thanks to the Swedish television series of the same name. Picturesque places like e.g. Fiskebäckskil, Grundsund and Rågårdsvik are all well-attended in the summer.
At Törn and Orust there are nice bays and a beautiful nature. There are a lot of boats, and from Tjörn into the archipelago you can go on different boat trips. The short distance to Göteborg makes a day trip to Liseberg perfect.
